FAQ

Everything you need to know

Menquility is a gay-owned, M4M men's spa at E 27th St & Lexington Ave in NoMad, Manhattan. Below are the most common questions we get from new clients — about who we are, who works on you, what each service involves, and how to book. If you don't see your question, call or text +1 (646) 347-1740 or email concierge@menquility.com.

Is Menquility gay-owned and gay-friendly?

Yes. Menquility is a gay-owned, M4M (Men for Men) men's spa in NoMad, Manhattan. The studio, the staff, and the entire operating model were built by and for gay men. Bi, curious, and queer-allied men are equally welcome — there is no orientation question on the booking form.

What does M4M mean in this context?

M4M (Men for Men) means our therapists are men, our clients are men, and the entire space is built around that. No explaining yourself. No guardedness. Just complete ease from the moment you arrive.

Do I need to be gay to book?

No. Menquility is M4M and explicitly gay-friendly, but we do not ask about your orientation and you never have to identify it. The room is built for masculine touch in a non-judgmental, non-performative environment — that serves gay, bi, curious, and straight men equally well.

Is my visit confidential?

Completely. Your identity, your visit history, your session — none of it leaves this building. Discretion is the foundation of everything we do.

Who are your therapists?

Every Menquility therapist is an experienced male professional, selected for exceptional technique, years of hands-on practice, and the ability to create a completely judgment-free space. You can request a specific therapist when booking.

Should I choose Swedish or Deep Tissue?

Choose Swedish for profound relaxation, stress relief, and sleep recovery — long, gliding strokes that quiet the nervous system. Choose Deep Tissue if you have chronic pain, knots, postural issues, or are recovering from intense physical training — slow, sustained pressure into the inner muscle layer. When in doubt, ask your therapist on arrival; they will guide you.

What is a sensual massage at Menquility — is it erotic?

Our sensual massage is a legitimate therapeutic modality focused on full-body awareness, intentional male touch, and nervous-system regulation. It is not an erotic or sexual service. It is performed by a professional male therapist in a private suite and is always strictly professional — no different operationally than our Swedish or deep tissue work, just with a different intention.

What is a nuru massage?

Nuru massage originated in Japan and involves full-body contact using warm, odorless nuru gel. It is an intensely intimate and connected experience. All sessions are performed by professional therapists in completely private suites and are always strictly professional.

What should I wear, and do I undress completely?

Wear whatever is comfortable to arrive — most clients come from work or the gym. Once in the suite, you may undress to your level of comfort. Most clients prefer to be completely undressed to allow uninterrupted bodywork. Our therapists use professional draping at all times: only the area being treated is exposed. Thai massage is the exception — it is performed fully clothed in loose-fitting attire we provide.

How do I book a session?

Three ways: (1) call or text +1 (646) 347-1740, (2) email concierge@menquility.com, or (3) use our online contact form at menquility.com/contact. We respond to texts and emails within an hour during operating hours. Same-day appointments are frequently available — just reach out.
