Menquility — Kips Bay, Manhattan NYC. By appointment only. Contact the concierge for arrival details.

Choose comfortable clothing for before and after your session. You may also want to silence your phone or leave it stored away so your attention can stay with the experience.

Share What Helps You Feel Comfortable

At the beginning of the appointment, let your therapist know about your preferences. You can mention the areas you would like them to focus on, areas you would prefer to avoid, your preferred pressure, and whether you enjoy quiet or light conversation.

Clear communication can be simple. Phrases such as “a little lighter here,” “please spend less time on my shoulders,” or “I’d prefer a quieter session” can help guide the appointment.

Your comfort can be part of the conversation throughout the massage. If the room temperature, music, pressure, face-rest position, or draping does not feel right, you can say so at any time.

There is no need to wait until the end to share a preference. A brief adjustment request can help the session feel more aligned with what you had in mind.

Leave Room for a Gentle Transition

When the session ends, take a moment before moving quickly into the rest of your day. Gather your belongings, get dressed at your own pace, and notice how you feel before heading back outside.

If you would like to request a future appointment, use Menquility’s own booking page. You can also contact the studio with practical questions before your visit.
